· This 4th of July, Oakland’s fireworks event at Jack London Square will help bring Oakland residents and families together in a safe and fun celebration of our nation’s independence and freedom. The event is one that the entire community can enjoy.
· While the cost for this event ($65,000) is a small fraction of the city’s budget, the Mayor and members of the City Council are currently raising funds to offset half, if not more, of the cost.
